Take a lesson from your lipstick.. BE BOLD!

2016 has been the year of the lip. Whether you have gone matte, glossy, bold, or subtle it’s been a thing. I have been a lipstick connoisseur for years now. I truly think nothing transforms a look like a little splash of color on your lips. With fall knocking on our doors the bold dark lipsticks are ringing the doorbell. So many people I have met have said they are too nervous to wear a bold shade. I am here to tell you anyone can pull off a bold lip. It’s all about finding the right shade and having the confidence to put it on. Lipstick has actually taught me a lesson in life. Do things that make you happy. If the color makes you happy rock it. Just as in life… take risks with your style. Try to step out of your comfort zone. While each season has trends that are going to be popular find something that speaks to you and don’t worry about the rules. So let’s get to the good stuff! Lip products! Some of these are ride or die products and some are colors that are going to stand out this fall.

Covergirl lipsticks fall under my ride and die category. Cover girl lip perfection 360 euphoria is my all time favorite. It is this luscious deep berry red. Perfect for fall, although I wear mine year round.

My next fall picks are the Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipcolor. So I have a love hate relationship with these liquid lips. THEY AREN’T MATTE! With that being said, they are gorgeous colors and apply like a dream. They have almost a mousse consistency. The lighter color is Seduction. This for me is the perfect nude. I like to wear it by itself or wear it over another nude. Now the darker color is a new color in this line. Its name is infatuation. Which is perfect because I am infatuated with this color. It will be your best friend for fall. (And P.S. they smell amazing)

Some other lovely fall colors you might want to try is the NYX Liquid Suede Soft Spoken. It’s a gorgeous mauve color. NYX really makes beautiful lip products. Always an A in my book. Last but not least a great throw in your purse color is Juniper Water by Burt’s Bees. I swear you have never felt a more moisturizing lipstick on your life. I hope these are some good suggestions and that you run out to find your new favorite fall color.
