Good Reads. ( plus 100 followers.)

Hello darlings, back with my latest thing!!!! How was your week guys?! Let me know all the fun things you did this week in the comments!!! Okay so lets get to the reason we are all here!!! This is a different blog post for me as I usually keep to beauty but I thought I would mix it up a bit! So today we are talking books! I have 6 books here that I have really enjoyed! I have never done a book post so i’m not really sure how this is supposed to go, so we are all in this together guys! Lets Dive in!

My Husbands Wife: Jane Corry

This was my most recent read! It really is my first thriller in a while. (excuse the picture, this book has a beautiful cover but I lost mine.. insert eye roll here.) Now I will say you have to get through the first 100 pages of this book but after that it really takes off. You can’t stop turning the pages. At times while reading this I would yell out “ Oh My God” This book takes so many twist and turns that you are never expecting! This book is shocking and full of secrets to be revealed right up to the very last page! You really end up being kind of disgusted with all the characters. You don’t know who to hate and who to feel sorry for!

milk and honey: Rupi Kaur

This is a book of poetry. It is broken up into four parts. The hurting, the Loving, the breaking, and the healing. I sat down and read this in one night. Once you start you cannot stop. You really do follow her through all these emotions. It is a rush emotion you get while reading this. While you may not be able to relate to every part of this book, I feel that she has written something every person can relate to in one way or another. The poetry is very easy to read and understand. I never thought I would enjoy a book of nothing but poetry. This really did steal my heart and has become a favorite.

The Wednesday Group: Sylvia True

Now… I don’t like to play favorties…… but this is my favorite on my list. Sylvia did such an amazing job developing these characters. This book is about a group of 5 women whose husbands are all cheating on them in one way or another. As the book title implies, they all meet together on Wednesdays. You follow them through the ups and downs of their journey. This Wednesday group really becomes the only place these women can escape and tell all their secrets. These 5 women share a special bond and secrets with each other that they cannot share with anyone else. A really great read!

Adultery: Paulo Coelho

Adultery is nothing like you expect. This book is not really about committing adultery at all. (Even though Linda the main character does.) This book is really about life, love, and learning to love the life you have. This book really is about realizing you don’t have go out looking for something new to make your life exciting. It’s all sitting right in front of you. This book is a tale of learning to love.

The Cake Therapist: Judith Fertig

I really loved this book. It was a very easy read. It is about Claire who everyone calls Neely moving back to her hometown after a divorce to open up a bakery. This book goes back and forth between her life in the present and another story taking place in the early 1900’s. This book has a huge twist in it that you are never really expecting to happen! This is really a fun and light read!

The Pairs Affair: Tatiana De Rosnay

This is a book of short stories. It is all about people in Paris having affairs. I sat down and read this in one night. This was a really fun read. This book takes you on a different journey about every 20 pages. This book is funny, light, and keeps your attention!

Also guys I just wanted to say thank you!!! I have reached over 100 followers!!! You guys have been so amazing and I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who follows me or even visits my site!!! This was my first big goal for my blog!!!

Until my next latest thing-Laura
